We want to thank Tammy for helping us sell our home on Caney Lake. She helped us set an asking price that was right on the money. Within a few hours of beginning to show the house to prospective buyers we received a call from Tammy saying that there were multiple offers for us to consider. We happened to be on the road traveling out of state at the time but just a few hours later we had a signed contract using our phone. She also helped negotiate the sale of our boat and most of the furniture. Tammy continued to keep us updated throughout the sale process all the way to closing and kept everything well documented. Over the last 30+ years, Kay and I have moved from coast to coast, therefore, we’ve sold and purchased at minimum a dozen homes over that time period. To that point, we’ve had significant experience with Realtors. When I searched the local websites to find a realtor to sell our lake home on Caney Lake, all indications pointed back to Tammy Gunter. So, I called her, and we met at our lake house that we called Rocky Top. The first thing that I noticed was punctuality and Tammy arrived right on time. We had a great conversation as she asked many questions about the home, its history and all its amenities. It was very easy for her to recognize all the improvements we’ve made over the past eleven years, as she ‘s sold many lake properties and in fact, she lives on Caney Lake. Her past experiences made it easy for her to understand the investments that property owners make on a lake house. For instance, amount lake frontage, seawalls, boat docks, storage sheds, electronic boat lifts, septic tanks, etc. Kay and I also noticed how she paid attention to the details within the main home and the adjoining cottages. We selected Tammy that afternoon to list our property and within the next 48 hrs. it was listed on the MLS, handouts available at the gate, and she already had lined up a few potential customer visits. Bottom line, she sold our property with a few weeks to solid buyers, and we closed within the next few weeks. Tammy took lead on getting the appraisal, the inspections and the closing.
